Asset Management

Like furniture and IT equipment, blinds make up an important asset group for a company and are a highly visible statement of a buildings condition.

Finnestra offer a number of asset management programmes for our clients installed base.

As well as an interior and exterior aesthetic statement, the heat and glare control function of blinds are a key part of a building’s energy efficiency as well as an important tool for staff wellbeing.

Like all machines, blinds require regular maintenance to prolong their lifecycle, maintain their performance and provide the best return on investment. This is legally required in electrically powered blinds but recommended for all blind types.

Asset surveys as provided by our team at Finnestra can assist in meeting these obligations and prolong the life of all of your blinds. Regular maintenance can also help ensure their security, preventing any serious injury caused by a falling blind.

Our asset management surveys involve a Finnestra team visiting your offices, measuring and inspecting each blind and providing your business with a comprehensive condition report of all your blind assets. Existing repairs can be quoted for as part of the immediate or planned phased repair.

This report then forms a register, assigning each blind a unique blind control number making it easier than ever for you to report any future repairs and our team to retrieve the necessary data and prepare the replacement/repair materials at the factory without the need for an additional survey.

Our team would then visit your office on an annual (for large/motorised blinds) or bi-annual basis and produce follow up condition reports and costs.
