Finnestra was called into the Head Office of this prestigious fashion designer in London. The Client had a number of motorised roof blinds that had failed. We were recommended to the client by a main contractor as in their opinion Finnestra are the experts in this type of blind.
With a number of failed motorised roof blinds, no operations and maintenance manuals available the installation had to be surveyed to identify the failed motor for replacement. Whilst on site Finnestra were also asked to look at some blinds where the tension cords had snapped.
The failed roof blind motor was stripped out to identify the make and type, a new motor was ordered and installed within a few days. At the same time the Basement blinds were stripped back to component level, new cords were installed and the blinds reassembled in their original locations.
The benefits to the client were all of their blinds were repaired in one single visit and the client now has a "go-to" blind partner for their future maintenance and repair needs and with the blinds being services regularly, maintenance and repair costs will be kept to a minimum and the real cost of ownership reduced.
